Our Mission:
4 Paw Patrol is a website dedicated to helping homeless pets in and around Ventura county and the Truckee Tahoe Basin, who are left unwanted in shelters and on the street, get a second chance to live the loved life they deserve. These precious animals didn't ask for the hand they have been dealt and don't understand how they've ended up where they have or why. Please help us make a difference. Even if it is only saving one life at a time; it makes all the difference to that one special pet who will now be a loved member of the family!

In loving Memory of Winter Noel Wilson
November 12, 2000 - June 28, 2008

Winter Noel Wilson was a beloved member of the Wilson Family. She was the sweetest, most loving girl you would have ever met. Her Mom and Dad loved her like a daughter. She was diagnosed with bone cancer late in 2007. She had been batteling ever since. Her Mom and Dad provided her with the best care possible and Winter lived a happy life until she could no longer fight her disease.
Winter was my "niece" and ranked at the top of the charts for biggest goofball. She grew up with Cocker Spaniels from the time she about 8 weeks old and learned to believe that she was the size of a cocker. Weighing in at about 140 pounds Winter was the largest Cocker Spaniel lap dog ever! She loved to do "jaw exercises" with her toys and play keep away from her friends and family. When her cousin, Jewl and I would play catch, Winter would play "jump up and down" and try to stop Jewlly from getting the ball. Winter didn't understand playing catch or why it was so fun to chase a ball and retrieve it... Her slime (drewl) became another food group in the household. She could fling her slime so far when she'd shake her head. Watch out on Thanksgiving... it came close to the dinner spead a couple of times. Winter would bake cookies with her mom and send them to her friends. She also tried out many different recipes to contribute to our webpage. In fact, she had tried so many we will continue our section of "Winter's Pooch Friendly Recipe's" to share with all her old and new friends to be.
We (the family) will miss Winter very dearly, but are so happy she is in a better place no longer suffering from her Cancer. She's playing and being a goof at Rainbow Bridge with her sister, two brother's, cousin and many friends. We can't wait to see you agian Winter! Thank you for blessing our lives with so many wonderful memories. We will love you and remember you forever and for always!- Your favorite (and only) Aunt Tiffy
