Our Mission:
4 Paw Patrol is a website dedicated to helping homeless pets in and around Ventura county and the Truckee Tahoe Basin, who are left unwanted in shelters and on the street, get a second chance to live the loved life they deserve. These precious animals didn't ask for the hand they have been dealt and don't understand how they've ended up where they have or why. Please help us make a difference. Even if it is only saving one life at a time; it makes all the difference to that one special pet who will now be a loved member of the family!

Winter's Pooch Friendly Recipe's!
Winter 11/12/1999 - 6/28/2008

Turkey Dog Treats

1 ¾ cups whole-wheat flour
2) 4.5 ounce jar turkey flavored baby food
½ cup beef broth
Yields about 30 cookies

1.      Position the rack in the center of the oven and preheat at 350. Lightly grease or use parchment paper to line a cookie sheet.
2.      In a large bowl, using a fork, combine the flour and baby food, mixing until they are well blended and form into a very soft dough. If the mixture is a little dry, add beef broth, ¼ cup at a time, until the mixture pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
3.      Pinch off small pieces of the dough, and between floured hands, roll them into small balls. Place the balls on the prepared cooking sheet ½ inch apart and flatten them with the back of the fork to ¼ inch thick.
4.      Bake for about 18 to 20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Remove the pan from the oven and allow the cookies to cool to room temperature on a wire rack. Store in a non-airtight container and serve as desired
